Shipping Policy

Shipping Cost

Shipping cost is calculated on a "per order," "per item" or "per pound" basis.

Shipping Timing

Certain products may require additional days to process prior to shipping.  This will be reflected in the estimated arrival date.  If for some reason you don't receive your product, you may be eligible for a replacement product if you notify us during your return and exchange time period.

P.O. boxes: Please note that based on size, weight or supplier restrictions, some products cannot be shipped to, a PO box address.  If you stipulate a PO box as the shipping address for one of these items, you will see a shipping alert in your cart, where alternative options will be provided.

Title to Products

Purchases of product through weartruestory.com are subject to a destination contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for these products passes to you upon the carrier's delivery to your ship-to address, and True Story is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage after delivery.

Return & Exchange Policy

RETURN POLICY

At True Story we place the utmost importance on your customer experience, if for any reason you are not fully satisfied you may exchange, replace or credit your purchase when it is presented in saleable condition with proof of purchase.  Present your original sales or gift receipt or allow us to validate your purchase or gift through True Story.  For the safety and protection of our customers, all returns/exchanges require valid photo identification.  We do not accept returns/exchanges without an original receipt or validation of the purchase, as stated above.

We want you to be entirely satisfied with you True Story purchase.  If you are not, we will gladly accept the return of items that are unwashed, unworn, and unaltered with the original tags attached and accompanied by the original invoice for online orders, or purchase information from your printed store receipt, within 30 days of order shipment date.

Customers who placed orders may return item(s) within 30 days of the order shipment date.

​

Orders placed using PayPal orders must be returned by mail via our online returns process, and are not eligible for exchanges.

​

Please allow up to three weeks for us to receive and process your return.  You will receive an email notification upon the completion of return processing.

​

Limited-edition styles are eligible for return within seven days of the shipping date.

​

EXCHANGES

​

  • If you would like to make an exchange you may do so, as long as it is for the same item (at the same price) in a different size or color.​

  • Your exchange order will be processed immediately with free shipping.  We'll also provide a free return label for your new order.

  • Please return the exchanged item(s) within 4 business days of initiating the exchange online.

  • Exchanged item(s) must be received within 14 days from the exchange is initiated online to avoid being charged.

  • PayPal orders are not eligible for exchanges, and can only be returned by mail via our online returns process.
